The Reading Practice Awareness Program was organized on 01.11.2025 by the Warli Book Reading Team to encourage students to develop a consistent reading habit and understand the value of reading in enhancing knowledge, language skills, and academic growth. The session, themed “An Awareness to Encourage Students to Develop a Reading Practice,” was led by resource persons Mr. Balakumar (HR, Flowserve; author and social worker in education), Mr. Prasad (Admin Head, Flowserve), Mr. Hareesh (Software Engineer, Infosys), Mr. Sudhakar (Software Engineer, Flowserve), and Mr. Gnanaprakash (Finance Professional, Flowserve). Students were introduced to a range of books in various languages, including fiction and non-fiction works focused on social themes and good habits. Skits based on selected books made the sessions lively and interactive. The program successfully motivated students to create personal reading lists and continue the habit beyond the classroom.
