CURRICULUM


Acharya Mahashraman Terapanth Jain Public School follows CBSE curriculum. Apart from the prescribed curriculum, the student enjoy a varied range of Scholastic and Co-Scholastic activities to further pursue their dreams in the respective fields they desire.


Kindergarten


The school offers a thoughtfully structured Kindergarten Programme for children aged 3–6 years, carefully designed to nurture all essential areas of early childhood development. The curriculum promotes progressive learning and ensures a seamless transition to the CBSE curriculum in Grade I, while aligning with the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) for School Education and global educational standards.

 

The prescribed KG books, “T is for THEMES” are designed in alignment with a theme-based and activity-oriented curriculum that fosters experiential learning, creativity, critical thinking, and the holistic development of every child. The curriculum places special emphasis on developing foundational literacy and numeracy skills through listening, speaking, reading, writing, and basic mathematical concepts, thereby providing children with a strong foundation for a confident and successful transition to primary education.


Primary & Middle School


The Primary School Programme provides a strong academic foundation while nurturing essential skills such as listening, speaking, reading, writing, critical thinking, problem solving, and inquiry. Through experiential and activity-based learning, students develop curiosity, creativity, confidence, and a deeper understanding of concepts.

 

The programme offers a balanced blend of scholastic and co-scholastic experiences that promote communication, collaboration, leadership, digital literacy, adaptability, and social responsibility, while catering to diverse learning needs through the principles of multiple intelligences.

 

The Primary and Middle School follow the Macmillan series of textbooks, aligned with the latest National Curriculum Framework (NCF) for School Education. The curriculum emphasizes conceptual clarity, competency-based learning, and continuous skill development, ensuring the holistic development of every child and preparing them to become confident, compassionate, responsible, and lifelong learners.


Secondary & Senior.Sec.School


The Secondary and  Senior Secondary Programme is designed to prepare students for higher education and future careers by offering specialized academic pathways based on their interests and aspirations. The school follows the NCERT curriculum and textbooks prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), ensuring alignment with the latest educational standards and competency-based learning framework.

 

Students can choose from three academic streams—Medical, Engineering, and Commerce—each providing a strong conceptual foundation and subject-specific expertise. Across all streams, English Core and Physical Education are offered as compulsory subjects to strengthen communication skills, promote physical well-being, and support holistic development.

Engineering Stream:

Designed for students aspiring to pursue careers in engineering, technology, and related fields, this stream focuses on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Students may choose one elective from Entrepreneurship, Computer Science, or Political Science.

Commerce Stream:

Ideal for students interested in business, finance, management, and entrepreneurship, this stream includes Business Studies, Accountancy, and Economics as core subjects. Elective options include Applied Mathematics, Entrepreneurship, Computer Science, or Political Science, enabling students to tailor their learning to their career goals.

Medical Stream:

This stream is intended for students pursuing careers in medicine, healthcare, and life sciences. It emphasizes Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, with elective choices including Mathematics, Home Science, Computer Science, or Political Science.

The Senior Secondary Programme combines academic excellence with critical thinking, problem-solving, research, communication, and leadership skills, empowering students to excel in competitive examinations, higher education, and their chosen professional careers.


Competitive Exams


Competitive exams help identifying scholastic talent in students. They build motivation and a positive spirit among students. These exams serve as a positive push towards excellence.

 

* Spell Bee: Engaging in Spell Bee competitions enhances students' vocabulary and language skills. It fosters a competitive spirit, improves spelling accuracy, and promotes a love for language, thereby strengthening overall communication abilities.

 

* SOF Olympiads: Participation in SOF competitions—including the Science Olympiad (SOF), International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO), and International English Olympiad (IEO)—challenges students to explore advanced concepts and develop strong problem-solving skills. These Olympiads foster critical thinking, analytical ability, creativity, and effective communication, while inspiring a passion for STEM, mathematics, and language.
